Residence Service Coordinator at Cornerstone Village

Residence Service Coordinator at Cornerstone Village

The Cambodian Family Community Center has partnered with Jamboree Housing Corporation to provide on-site health and social services to residents of Cornerstone Village and Bishop Manor apartment complex in Santa Ana. Cornerstone Village/Bishop Manor apartments were the first home to Cambodian refugees who arrived in the U.S. in 1980s. Many of our neighborhood residents are Khmer-speaking and Spanish-speaking members who are low income and have transportation barriers to receiving services at our community center. In order to help minimize this barrier, we have a satellite office at the Cornerstone Village office to provide onsite assistance. Services are provided both in English/Khmer and English/Spanish and include:

  • Referrals & linkages to health, mental health, and social services and health-promoting classes/activities
  • Assistance with navigating community resources
  • Assistance with understanding and completing forms and applications (i.e. Utility bills, N-400 citizenship application, employment/unemployment, health insurance, CalFresh, SSI, and many more)
  • Translation and interpretation services

For more information about this program, please contact Amina: Health Program Director, aminasm@cambodianfamily.org.
