Chheng Tang came to America from Cambodia at age 14 and immediately had to face the challenges of learning a new language and catching up with her classmates in school. She enrolled in The Cambodian Family’s Youth Program where she found help with her schoolwork, made friends, and had the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities. After graduating from Century High School, Chheng worked to put herself through college. She graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a degree in business and went on to earn an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
Chheng has always been a hard worker with an entrepreneurial spirit. She has helped run the family donut business, worked as a hair stylist, and is now pursuing her goals in the business world. We at The Cambodian Family are pleased to have had a part in her success and to have served other members of her family through our Youth, Health, and Employment Programs.
